*Loosen the nut on the shoe pivot stud, and while applying pressure on the brake pedal (tp center the shoes within the drum) retighten the pivot stud nut. The serrations in the stud plate and side of cover will prevent the stud from shifting the nut is tightened. page 171 E-8 manual
